Inauguration of ‘Sanatan Almanac 2021’ Android App in Marathi, Kannada, Gujarati, Telugu and English

Since the Indian economy and family system depend on the Hindu Almanac, its

Mumbai – ‘The method of time measurement for Hindus is millions of years old and is based on the movement of the sun and moon. It is also conducive to the cycle of nature and the seasons. Therefore, festivals, seasons, vrats (Vowed observances), etc. do not change every year. However the method of measuring time in other religions, which have existed only a couple of thousand years is flawed. Even today, people buy the English calendars not to see the date, but to see the Tithi, Nakshatra (Constellation), muhurt (Auspicious time), Ekadashi, Pradosh, festivals, vrats, etc. India’s economy is dependent on festivals. Buying and selling take place accordingly. The trade turnover is calculated as per this. This is all due to the Hindu Almanac. Therefore, the importance of the Almanac will remain ‘Yavachchandradivakarau’ (Till the sun and moon exist)’, asserted the famous Almanac author of Maharashtra, Mr. Mohan Dhundiraj Date.

He also lauded the fact that Sanatan Sanstha has been celebrating the New Year on Gudhipadwa for many years; now, the young generation has started celebrating the New Year on Gudhipadwa instead of 1st January.

He was speaking in an Online function on ‘Uniqueness of Sanatan Almanac’, organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). He inaugurated the Android App of ‘Sanatan Almanac 2021’ in Marathi, Kannada, Gujarati, Telugu and English published by Sanatan Sanstha.

The App in Marathi was inaugurated by Mr. Mohan Date, the Kanada App by Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale (National Guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti), Gujarati App by Acharya Ashok Kumar Mishra (of World Astro Federation at Patna), Telugu App by Mr. Arun Kumar Upadhyay (Retd. Inspector General of Police in Odisha). The English App was launched by Dr. Lokraj Poudel (Founder-President of the World Astrology Federation in Nepal). Sanatan Sanstha has appealed that all ‘Sanatan Almanac 2021’ Apps on Android and iOS systems be downloaded from : https://sanatanpanchang.com/download-apps/.

The event was viewed live by 36,027 people on Facebook and YouTube and reaced 1,34,949 people.
