UN allows Pakistan to pay Rs 1.5 lakh a month to terrorist Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi

The UN talks of ending terrorism and empathises with a terrorist in the same breath. This reflects the UN’s working style and how responsive it is in tackling terrorism.

Geneva (Switzerland) – The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has allowed Pakistan to pay Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, one of the masterminds of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, Rs 1.5 lakh per month for basic expenses. This facility has been provided on the request of the Pakistani Government. (This is a stark reminder of the terrorist attitude of Pakistan – Editor). Lakhvi is also the head of the Lashkar-e-Taiba, a hard line terrorist group. This 1.5 lakh rupees covers his basic expenses relating to food (Rs 50,000), medicines (Rs 45,000), public utility charges (Rs 20,000), lawyer’s fee (Rs 20,000) and transportation (Rs 15,000). (Does a common man spend so much on necessities? This shows that Pakistan entertains terrorists – Editor)

Lakhvi has been out on bail since 2015. Even his imprisonment was an eye wash. He had fathered a child while at the Adiala jail in Rawalpindi.
