Islamabad (Pakistan) – A few days ago the mastermind of 26/11 attack on Mumbai, Hafiz Saeed was sentenced 10 years of imprisonment by Pakistan Court. However, it is being revealed that he is running the terrorist organisation from his residence at Johar Town rather than being in the prison. It is clear from this that the action against Hafiz Saeed was just an eyewash. He has been blacklisted in the list of the Financial Action Task Force. F.A.T.F. is an organisation developed to combat money laundering including terrorism financing.

As reported by the official sources Hafiz Saeed is ostensibly in the protective custody that even lets him receive the guests. Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, the chief operational commander and the head of the Lashkar-e-Taiba’s jihad wing visited him in the last month in his house. It was discussed in the meeting about collecting the funds. Lakhvi is also one of the terrorists who led the Mumbai attack; he is, however, still at large.
