MP by-polls : Kamal Nath calls BJP candidate ‘Item’

It is unfortunate that the Congress leader who insults women in such a manner was the Chief Minister !

When a woman is the President of Congress, its leaders make such derogatory remarks about a woman. Mrs. Sonia Gandhi was expected to act against such leaders. However, this did not happen. This shows that for Congress, its leaders are more important than respect to women.

Indore (MP) – Amid the ongoing by-elections in Madhya Pradesh, during a rally for Congress candidate Suresh Raje in Dabra, Kamal Nath (Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee President and former Chief Minister) called BJP candidate Imarti Devi ‘an item’. The politics over Congress leader’s statement heated up. BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Jyotiraditya Scindia hit back saying that this is the policy of the Congress.

Commenting on the remark, Scindia said that the Congress party can never respect women. Scindia appealed to the people to vote for the BJP candidate and teach Congress a lesson.

Scindia said, “Kamal Nath says that Imarti Devi is an item. Ajay Singh says that she is jalebi. Close your door for such people on 3rd November”.

Kamal Nath accused Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan of twisting his words and said that this is propaganda against him.
