‘The Places of Worship Act 1991’ should be repealed Former Shia Central Waqf Board Chairman Wasim Rizvi writes letter to PM

A Muslim person makes such a demand; however, no Hindu representative in the country or any Hindu Minister in the Central and State Governments made such a demand. It is a shame for the Hindus who elect such people’s representatives who do nothing to regain the spiritual and cultural heritage of Hindus !

Lucknow (U.P.) – Former Chairman of the Shia Central Waqf Board Wasim Rizvi has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking repeal of The Places of Worship Act 1991. He also demanded that ‘mosques built on the site of the temples demolished by the Mughals should be demolished and efforts should be made to restore the temples there’.

In the letter, Rizvi writes that the ‘Places of Worship Act 1991’ was deliberately enacted during the Congress period. Congress wanted that the disputes between temples and mosques should continue in the country. That is why if this law is repealed permanently, the temple and mosque dispute will also end.
