Incident in Sagar (Madhya Pradesh)

Sagar (Madhya Pradesh) – Violence broke out in Sanodha village of Sagar District after a Muslim youth kidnapped a Hindu girl. An angry mob vandalised and set shops on fire. The police fired tear gas shells to control the situation. Currently, there is tension in the village; a large police force is deployed. According to sources, the girl was about to get married but the Muslim youth abducted the girl and it infuriated the public.

Local MLA Pradeep Laria said that that Muslim youth is a criminal.

BJP state president VD Sharma said that those involved in Love Jihad and misleading Hindu girls by hiding their identities will not be spared under any circumstances. No one should take the law into their hands. The law will do its job. It is a BJP Government. Strict action is sure as per the rules.

Hindus do not expect such incidents to happen when the BJP has been in power in Madhya Pradesh for many years.
