Mathura (Uttar Pradesh) – ‘Kapur Prajapati’ converted to Islam and became ‘Kasif’ on the instigation of Taiyab, a religious fanatic. He agreed to marry his two teenage daughters to two Muslim youth from Mewat. When the proposal became public, zealous Hindus rescued the girls and sent Prajapati to prison. The man responsible for the conversion of Prajapati, Taiyab, is absconding.

Mahendri, a sister-in-law of Prajapati informed Madora is a Muslim majority village 50 Kms. from Mathura. Prajapati was responsible for the murder of two girls and a man, 20 years ago. Religious fanatics assured him, ‘if he gets converted to Islam, he will go scot-free.’ After this incident, Prajapati agreed for conversion to Islam.
