Islamabad (Pakistan) – A religious fanatic Wazir Hussain kidnapped a minor Hindu girl and forcibly converted her to Islam. In addition, he forced her to marry him.

When protest against this incidence began, Hussain pressured the Hindu girl to write an affidavit claiming, ‘I am 19-years-old and voluntarily accept the conversion to Islam.’ She is now named as Beesharan. The report of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan states that, ‘at least 1,000 thousand non-Muslim girls are forced to convert to Islam annually. Most of the girls are Hindus from Sindh province.’
