Shopian (J&K) – Three militants were killed in a clash between 44 National Rifles soldiers and militants in the Turkwangam area of Shopian in Kashmir on 16th June at around 5 a.m. The dead included Jubaid Ahmed Wani alias Rehman, Munibul Haq and Kamran Zahoor Manhas. A search is currently underway. So far this year, 109 militants have been killed in Kashmir.
