Assault on Swami Pushpinder Swarup in Punjab

Hindus expect that the Central Government make attempts to stop the attacks on Hindu Saints in the States ruled by Congress.

This also shows that Policemen who take action against common people disregarding the restrictions of lockdown cannot keep a check on criminals.

Hoshiarpur (Punjab) – A brutal attack on a Hindu Sadhu on the night of 24^th April has taken place here after the Palghar attack. Swami Pushpendra Swarup was assaulted with sharp weapons while he was alone in his Ashram, as a result of which he sustained serious injuries.

“I pleaded them to spare my life & take the money instead. But they continued to beat me”, he said. He was attacked by 2 assailants, who tied his hands & feet, tried to strangle him, stole Rs. 50,000 and some other valuable items from the Ashram.
