Shoaib lures a minor Hindu girl by introducing himself as Saurabh

Victim’s obscene videos circulated after she refused to convert

Lucknow (UP) – Police have arrested a Muslim youth identified as Shoaib for luring a minor Hindu girl and sexually exploiting her using a fake Instagram account with the name ‘Saurabh Singh’.

The accused Shoaib is a resident of Wazirganj in Gonda district and owns a barber shop named ‘Professional Shoaib Akhtar Salon’ in Karda village. He introduced himself to the victim using a Hindu name ‘Saurabh’ and later developed a relationship with her and recorded an obscene video of her. Threatening to circulate the video, he began pressuring her to embrace Islam. Since the victim Hindu girl refused to convert, he abused her verbally. After the girl stopped communicating with him, he circulated the obscene video.
