1962’s Bengal riots laid the foundation of Hindu persecution and Muslim appeasement : BJP MP Nishikant Dubey

Alleged Nehru of being responsible for Hindu persecution

New Delhi – BJP MP Nishikant Dubey criticized the Congress party on ‘X’, by posting that the foundation of Hindu persecution was laid in the riots that took place in Bengal 64 years ago. He also said that Nehru was responsible for this and called it a dark chapter of Congress party. MP Dubey has also shared some relevant documents.

Nishikant Dubey further said,

1. The foundation of Hindu persecution and Muslims appeasement currently happening in Bengal was laid on May 3 rd , 1962. From May 3rd to 30th, 1962, large-scale Hindu-Muslim riots took place in Malda, Murshidabad, Nadia and Cooch Behar Districts of Bengal. Several people died and many were displaced.

2. A similar situation was faced by Hindus in East Pakistan, i.e. Bangladesh. Hindus, who were mostly from Matua caste (a SC community), were either killed or fled and became homeless. Modi government granted citizenship to them.

3. Nehru always sided with Muslims in and outside Parliament. The letter written to Rajagopalchari gives information about the vote bank politics of the Congress. This letter has also been circulated by MP Dubey.

Editorial Perspective

Due to this anti-Hindu policy of Congress, Hindus have become a minority in 9 Indian States today. To avoid this from happening in other States, Hindus should lay the foundation of Congress’ political uprooting.
