Indore (Madhya Pradesh) – A new case of love jihad has come to light in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. A 19-year-old Hindu student has accused Abdul Aziz Pathan of rape, blackmail, and pressuring her to convert her religion, among other serious charges. Based on the victim’s complaint, the Police have registered a case against Abdul Aziz Pathan and taken him into custody.
1. According to the victim, she came into contact with the accused about a year ago. He concealed his identity and introduced himself falsely as Rahul. As their interaction increased, he gained her trust and proposed marriage. One day, he took her to his house and, taking advantage of the absence of family members, had physical relations with her under the pretext of marriage.
2. When the victim later spoke about marriage, the accused revealed his real identity as Abdul Aziz Pathan and made religious conversion a condition for marriage. After that, he repeatedly pressured her to convert.
3. When the victim resisted, the accused threatened to circulate her obscene video and used it to blackmail her, raping her multiple times. He also gave her intoxicants and forcibly made her wear a burqa and recite the kalma.
4. The accused forced the victim to undergo an abortion.
5. Distressed by the situation, the victim left Indore and went to her home in Chhindwara, where she informed her family about the entire incident. Following this, her family filed a complaint against the accused at the Police station.
