Rashid turns out to be the owner of ‘Saurabh Chicken Biryani’ shop in Uttarakhand

Anger erupts as Hindus are forced to consume 'Halal' (meat slaughtered per Islamic rites) meat.

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) – A new controversy regarding shop names has emerged once again in the state. A youth in Rudrapur ordered biryani from a shop named ‘Saurabh Chicken Biryani’ via the Zomato app. After placing the order, the youth became suspicious and conducted an inquiry. It was revealed that the shop appearing as ‘Saurabh Chicken Biryani’ on the app was actually being operated by a person named Rashid. Once this information surfaced, activists from local Hindu organizations reached the spot and raised objections. Later, people associated with Hindu organizations, led by BJP MLA Shiv Arora, met the police and demanded action.

1. The youth who ordered the biryani searched for the address of ‘Saurabh Chicken Biryani’. He realized that there was no shop owned by a Hindu in the Trishul Chowk area.

2. He then called his associates and went to Trishul Chowk with some youths to wait for the Zomato delivery person. As soon as the delivery executive reached the shop to pick up the
biryani, the youths protested.

3. This shop is being run by a person named Rashid. The youths alleged that the shopkeeper misled people by registering on Zomato under the name ‘Saurabh’.

4. They claimed that because of the name ‘Saurabh’ on the app, people from the Hindu community are being deceived into consuming Halal meat without their knowledge. This is against their religious beliefs.

Editorial Perspective

  • Religious Fanatic Muslims misleading Hindus by giving Hindu names to shops and feeding them 'Halal' meat despite being against the Hindu religion!
  • While Hindus are considered 'Kafir' (infidels) by Muslims at other times, they find it acceptable to adopt Hindu names to run shops and take money from Hindu customers for profit. This exposes their hypocrisy!
