Mustafa arrested: devout Hindus demand strict action

Koppal (Karnataka) – It has come to light that a religious fanatic Muslim named Mustafa from Kampli village in Alavandi has been harassing Hindu girls and behaving indecently with them. Mustafa was caught by people while behaving inappropriately with a Hindu girl at the Koppal District Hospital and was questioned. During this, photographs of 16 girls and obscene videos were found in his mobile phone.

1. Based on the material found in Mustafa’s mobile phone, suspicion has arisen that he may have been gaining the trust of multiple girls and deceiving them.

2. Taking serious note of the matter, devout Hindu organisations have requested the Koppal Police to thoroughly investigate the allegations against Mustafa and take strict action against him. They have submitted a memorandum to the Koppal District Superintendent of Police Dr Ram Arasiddi. Devout Hindus have also warned that if immediate action is not taken against Mustafa, they will launch an intense agitation.

3. Superintendent of Police Dr Ram Arasiddi stated that the accused Mustafa has been taken into custody and is being investigated. The police have assured that all aspects will be examined seriously and that swift action will be taken in the case.

4. Citizens of Koppal district and devout Hindu organisations have expressed strong anger over the incident. They have demanded strict punishment for those who deceive and behave indecently with girls. It is also being said that such an incident occurring in a public place like a district hospital is highly concerning.

5. This is not the first time that allegations such as indecent behaviour with girls, deception, and “love jihad” have surfaced in Koppal district. Several such cases have come to light earlier as well. Citizens have demanded strict police action to prevent recurrence of such incidents.
