'Love Jihad' case comes to light in Uttar Pradesh

Laxmanpuri (Uttar Pradesh) – A new case of ‘Love Jihad’ has come to light in Ghazipur area of the capital Laxmanpuri. A Muslim youth named Ali Shaikh lured the victim Hindu girl into a love trap by pretending to be Aman Singh. Accused had physical relation with her with false promise of marriage. Accused started avoiding the victim when she spoke about marriage. Then his real identity of Ali Shaikh came to fore. After that accused threatened the victim girl with releasing the indecent videos. Finally, the girl lodged a complaint against the accused at the Ghazipur police station. In her complaint, the victim said that on April 1, the accused called her to a hotel in Indiranagar on the pretext of talking, where he raped her and beat her up.
A police inspector of Ghazipur police station said that a case has been registered against the accused on the basis of the complaint of the victim and a search is on for him.
