The cost of Rs 40 lakh incurred during the demolition of the mosque will be recovered from the management

Sitapur (Uttar Pradesh) – The administration demolished a mosque that was illegally constructed 12 years ago on the land of a cemetery in Behati Mohalla, in Laharpur taluka, Sitapur District. This action was taken under police protection on the orders of District Collector Raja Ganapati R. After this, the Laharpur Tehsildar gave the payment voucher of Rs 39 lakh 55 thousand for the administrative expenses incurred during the removal of the encroachment to the mosque’s Mutawalli (Manager) Alam. The manager has to repay the amount within one month.
The administration said that the cost of all the Government machinery used to remove illegal construction will be recovered from the Mutawalli.
