
Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – No disturbance of any kind will be tolerated during festivals. Strict action will be taken against those who attempt to disrupt the environment. Festivals must be celebrated strictly within the framework of established traditions, and no new practices will be permitted, warned Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the backdrop of Eid. He was speaking at an online meeting convened to review law and order. The Director General of Police, Police Commissioners, District Magistrates, and other officials participated in the meeting.
The Chief Minister further stated,
Take every complaint and every incident seriously !
Peace and security must be ensured under all circumstances. Negligence at any level will not be tolerated. Even a single criminal incident can disturb the atmosphere of the entire society; therefore, every complaint and every incident must be treated with utmost seriousness.
Loudspeaker volume must remain within prescribed limits !
Citing directives of the Supreme Court of India, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that loudspeaker volume at religious places must strictly adhere to prescribed standards. If rules are violated, strict action must be taken, including removal of loudspeakers. Dangerous motorcycle stunts must be stopped immediately.
Maintain vigilance in temples during Chaitra Navratri !
Considering the large gatherings of devotees in Devi’s temples during Chaitra Navratri, comprehensive arrangements must be ensured for security, cleanliness, crowd management, drinking water, lighting, and healthcare services. Extra vigilance must be maintained at major temples and crowded locations.
Improve arrangements in cow shelters !
The Chief Minister directed that facilities in destitute cow shelters be improved. He instructed the appointment of nodal officers (for inter-departmental coordination), timely allocation of funds, and ensuring protection of cattle along with adequate fodder and other essential facilities.
Keep strict watch on black marketing of LPG cylinders !
There must be no inconvenience to the public regarding LPG cylinder supply. Hoarding and black marketing must be strictly monitored. Strong action must be taken against offenders, and public grievances must be resolved promptly.
