10 thousand people collectively accept Christianity in Peru !

Attendance of 90 thousand, participation of 2,300 churches !

Lima (Peru) – At a large Evangelical programme held here under the leadership of American Christian preacher Franklin Graham, more than 90 thousand people participated. Among them, as many as 10 thousand people publicly accepted Christianity. Many among them were youths in the age group of 10 to 25 years. The Christian organisation Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has made this claim. Photographs of this programme have been released on the organisation’s website.

In this two-day gathering organised at the National Stadium in Lima, as many as 2,300 churches participated. It has not been ascertained which religion these people originally belonged to.

Editorial Perspective

After North America and Europe, Christian churches are now targeting South America, Africa and Asia through strength, inducements and alleged miracles. This incident is indicative of the same. If thousands of Hindus lacking Dharmashikshan in India also begin converting to Christianity in this manner, it would not be surprising ! Therefore, it is essential that the Union Government enact an anti-conversion law beforehand !
