Hindus will no longer wait for the Police, will take action in their own way : VHP

  • Vishwa Hindu Parishad Joint General Secretary Surendra Jain warns post the murder of Tarun Kumar Khatik in Delhi

  • 100 Hindus have been killed in 240 attacks during Hindu festivals in the last 10 years

New Delhi – Incidents like the murder of Tarun Kumar Khatik in Uttam Nagar are not limited to Delhi alone; they are happening all over the country. In the last 10 years, there have been 240 such incidents in which Hindus were attacked during Hindu festivals, killing a total of 100 Hindus. As people started massive protests in the Uttam Nagar case, the Delhi Government had to take action. What will happen if Hindus start doing what the Jihadis are doing? Then, where and how will those people celebrate Muharram and Eid? Now Hindus will not sit waiting for the Police to take action. Hindus will now onwards take action in their own way, warned Vishwa Hindu Parishad Joint General Secretary Surendra Jain at a press conference here.

Points presented by Jain

1. If Hindus start doing the same, how will you celebrate Eid?

Jain further said that everyone should remember the High Court’s observation in the Ramasamy Udayar case that if a minority group is obstructing Hindus from organising their festivals and processions, then that group should also think about how it would organise its own religious (Eid, Muharram) programmes in a place where it is a minority.

2. Tarun’s murder was premeditated

Jain said that Holi is a festival of colours. On the same day, Jihadis played Holi with blood. Tarun Khatik was brutally murdered. A 7-year-old boy accidentally splashed Holi colour on the clothes of a Muslim woman. After that, 25 to 30 Muslims came with swords in their hands and attacked. This is not a coincidence; it seems to be a premeditated act. In this case, the woman has disappeared. Action should be taken against everyone involved, including that woman.

3. Why are those who play caste politics silent now?

Wherever in the country, if Gorakshaks act to protect cows, all secular leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, take to the streets; but today, why are they silent on the killing of Tarun? Tarun belonged to the Scheduled Caste. Why are the people who call themselves Scheduled Caste leaders silent today?

4. Why are women and minors at the forefront among the rioters?

So far, only 7 out of 30 accused have been arrested. Anger will be expressed all over Delhi. A torch march will be taken out. If necessary, a nationwide protest will be held. It has been observed across the country that Jihadi rioters often use women and minors as a means of protection from legal action. The time has come to control this tactic.

5. The community knows everyone, it will take action in its own way

If the Government does not take action, then it should be clearly stated. The community in that area knows everyone. Then the community will take action in its own way. Radical madarasas should be banned immediately. The organisation ‘Jamiyat ul Ulema Hind’ stands by the terrorists, protects them. Its activities should also be investigated.

Editorial Perspective

This statement of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad is not a reaction or provocation. It is the result of the injustice and atrocities faced by Hindus in the last 78 years. Despite being a secular country, the Government and the Police look at the victims’ and attackers’ religion to decide if action is to be taken or not after an incident of attack. This is a conspiracy to eliminate Hindus in this country in the name of secularism. If Hindus do not awaken today, this country will certainly be divided into fragments in the future.
