Ballari (Karnataka) – A student was killed and 8 others were seriously injured in a brutal attack carried out by another student at a Gurukul residential school here. The condition of two of the injured students is critical. The student who carried out the attack has absconded. The parents of the deceased boy are grieving over the incident and have alleged that their son died due to the negligence of the school management. The Police are investigating the case.
1. A few days ago, after dinner, when everyone was asleep at night, a student took an iron rod from a bed and indiscriminately attacked eight students. One student died on the spot. The deceased boy had been studying at this residential school for the past four years. He was originally from Adoni village in Andhra Pradesh.
2. The father of the deceased boy alleged that intoxication could be the only reason why the attacker carried out such a violent assault on so many students.
