Sundargarh (Odisha) – The tribal community is the backbone of Bharat; hence anti-national forces target tribals. Although the British have been driven out, they sowed the seeds of Christian conversions, which today pose the greatest threat to our Dharma, culture and nation. Therefore, we must unite and fight against these anti-national demonic forces. The unity of the tribal Hindu community is the strength of the nation, asserted Prabal Pratap Singh Judev, BJP’s Chhattisgarh State Vice President and All India head of Ghar Wapasi (re-entry into Hindu Dharma).

1. On the birth anniversary of Swami Shraddhanand, Vishva Hindu Parishad organised a ‘Provincial Tribal Religious Protection Mahayagya’ at Karua Bahal in Sundargarh. On this occasion, Judev facilitated the return of 210 tribal brethren to Sanatan Hindu Dharma by chanting Vedic mantras and, after the Yagya, washing their feet. (The Shuddhi movement was initiated in the 1920s by Swami Shraddhanand and Arya Samaj. Under this movement, thousands of Hindus were brought back into Hindu Dharma from Christianity.)

2. While addressing the gathering, Judev further stated that Swami Lakshmanananda Saraswati had fought against missionary mafias conspiring to convert tribals to Christianity in Kandhamal, Odisha. For this, he was cowardly assassinated in 2008. “Today’s Swadesh Yatra is dedicated to that great saint who sacrificed his life for the nation and Dharma,” he said.

3. Speaking to a representative of Sanatan Prabhat about the programme, Judev stated that the effort was aimed at protecting the faith, traditions and cultural identity of the tribal community. Such programmes, he said, set a powerful example of dedication to the nation and Dharma.
