Captured personnel release emotional videos exposing Pakistan Army’s denial

Quetta (Baluchistan) – In a shocking development, the Pakistan Army has refused to acknowledge its own the seven soldiers reportedly captured by the Baluch Liberation Army (BLA). Pakistani military claimed that no soldier is missing and that no personnel have been taken captive; effectively refusing to accept the detained soldiers.
Soon after this denial, the BLA released videos of the captured soldiers. In the footage, two of them are seen weeping and stating, “The Pakistan Army sent us here, but now it refuses to recognise us.” They displayed identity cards issued by the Pakistan Army.
BLA demands release of Baluch prisoners, sets deadline
The BLA had earlier claimed to have detained more than 20 individuals during recent operations, adding that some have been released. The group has demanded the release of Baluch prisoners in exchange for the captured soldiers and has issued a seven-day ultimatum. It warned that failure to meet the demand would result in the soldiers being tried and punished by its so-called Baluch National Court. The BLA considers Baluchistan an independent nation and claims to operate under its own constitution and legal system.
