Raigarh (Chhattisgarh) – On the occasion of Mahashivratri, 272 converted Hindus re-entered Hindu Dharma at the Bargad Dham premises in Kharsia, Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh. The ‘Gharwapsi’ (reconversion to Hindu Dharma) ceremony was conducted with Vedic rituals and chanting of Mantras during the Hindu Mahasangam programme held at the sacred land of Baba Siddheshwar Mahadev.

The event was jointly organised by Dharm Jagran Samanvay Chhattisgarh Province, Kalchuri Kalar Mahasangh, Seva Nyaya Utthan and the Dilip Singh Judev Foundation. Akhil Bharatiya Gharwapsi chief Prabal Pratap Singh Judev washed the feet of all those returning and ceremonially welcomed them back into Hindu Dharma.
