Harass Mia Muslims so much that they will leave Assam and go back to Bangladesh : Assam CM

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma appeals

(Mia Muslim means Bengali Muslim)

Guwahati (Assam) – “Yes, we are trying to block the votes of Mia Muslims. They should vote in Bangladesh and not in our country. We are making arrangements so that they will not be able to vote in Assam. No Assamese citizen has any problem with the ongoing special in-depth review of the electoral rolls; but only Mia Muslims are suffering from this process.

If Mia Muslims are facing problems, why should we worry about them ? If any Mia Muslim rickshaw puller asks for Rs 5, give him Rs 4. Give him trouble, and he will leave Assam and go back to Bangladesh,” said BJP’s Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma at a programme. He is being criticized by the Congress and other parties.

PM Modi and CM Sarma should apologize : Congress

The Congress, while broadcasting Sarma’s statement on ‘X’, wrote that this vile statement is from Assam Chief Minister and Narendra Modi’s beloved leader Himanta Biswa Sarma. He is violating the Constitution by taking an oath on the Constitution and sowing the seeds of hatred in the country. This is the hateful mentality of the BJP-RSS. The statement is not only indecent, but is a direct attack on Babasaheb’s Constitution and our Ganga-Jamuni culture (a culture that supposedly shows unity between Hindus and Muslims living on the banks of the Ganga and Yamuna rivers), which has given every Indian the right to equality. (Doesn’t expelling the infiltrating Muslims mean following the Constitution ? In fact, not doing so is the contempt of the Constitution and Congress has been continuously doing so. Even now it is asking others to do so – Editor). The Congress has demanded that Narendra Modi and the BJP apologize to the entire country for this shameful act of Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Chief Minister Sarma broke all records of insulting Muslims : Maulana Bareilvi

National President of ‘All India Muslim Jamaat’ Maulana (Islamic scholar) Shahabuddin Razvi Bareilvi also criticized Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and said that Sarma’s stance is anti-Muslim. Since becoming the Chief Minister, he has been continuously targeting Muslims. Sarma is calling Muslims as infiltrators and Bangladeshis. He is doing injustice to them. As the elections are approaching, he has taken a more aggressive stance against Muslims. He is insulting Muslims by calling them ‘Mia’. He wants to become the Chief Minister for the second time under any circumstances. He has broken all records of insulting Muslims.
