PM Modi and CM Sarma should apologize : Congress

The Congress, while broadcasting Sarma’s statement on ‘X’, wrote that this vile statement is from Assam Chief Minister and Narendra Modi’s beloved leader Himanta Biswa Sarma. He is violating the Constitution by taking an oath on the Constitution and sowing the seeds of hatred in the country. This is the hateful mentality of the BJP-RSS. The statement is not only indecent, but is a direct attack on Babasaheb’s Constitution and our Ganga-Jamuni culture (a culture that supposedly shows unity between Hindus and Muslims living on the banks of the Ganga and Yamuna rivers), which has given every Indian the right to equality. National President of ‘All India Muslim Jamaat’ Maulana (Islamic scholar) Shahabuddin Razvi Bareilvi also criticized Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and said that Sarma’s stance is anti-Muslim. Since becoming the Chief Minister, he has been continuously targeting Muslims. Sarma is calling Muslims as infiltrators and Bangladeshis. He is doing injustice to them.
