Denigration of the song ‘Jai Shriram’ by the Thackery Group’s Muslim candidate

Vishwa Hindu Parishad Condemns the act

Mumbai – The candidate of Udhav Balasaheb Thackeray Groups’ for the ward Number 96 of Bandra East, Sana Haji Halim Khan has filed her application for Nagarsevak here. Sana Khan for her election promotion used the song ‘Jai Shriram’ with some changes in the words. She inserted her own name in the song which is a Hindu religious song; and used it to promote her candidature. Hence the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Bajrang Dal and other devout Hindu organisations protested against it.

In this song the words go like this – ‘har Ghar me ab ek hi naam, ek hi nara gunjega ….. Ubadha Jindabad…… pada beharam ka bachacha, Sana Haji Halim Khan Bolega’. Khan had denigrated the song which was made in praise of Shriram. This has enraged the Hindus. Till now the party has not clarified its position about this matter.

Prohibition of anti-national and anti-religious action – Shriraj Nair  National Spokesman, Vishwa Hindu Parishad

In this matter Shri Shriraj Nair the National Spokesman of Vishwa Hindu Parishad  said, Hindu Hriday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray established Shivsena for the protection of Hindutva, but the next generation is following the politics of appeasement and peddling to the Muslims. For votes they have given up Hindutva. The religious song has been corrupted and denigrated it with a jihadi attitude. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad proscribes this anti-national and anti-religious act.

Editorial Perspective

In this matter, all Hindus must unite and force the candidate to remove the song.
