India to move on the path of self-reliance

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar – India will not fall prey to pressure by other countries for its international trade. India will move on the path of self-reliance, let any country imposes any tariffs, asserted RSS Chief Param Pujya Sarsanghchalak (Dr) Mohan Bhagawat, thus indirectly pointing at the USA. He addressed a Hindu gathering held on the ground of Zilha Parishad school at Gangapur on 16.01.2026. The programme was attended by hundreds of Hindu men and women, besides Saints and Mahant. He appealed to people to use indigenous products wherever possible.
Param Pujya Sarsanghchalak (Dr) Mohan Bhagawat further stated that Hindus have to transform the society which will require direct action. Equality should not just be in talk but should also be in the action; for which we need to have friends among all castes and communities. A few nations think of globalisation only to get global market for their products. India treats the world as one family. We need not worry about creating jobs for other countries or worry about them as it is their responsibility. India is not just a geographical territory but it has a thought, a culture and a character. Only Hindus will be responsible for the good and bad things happening in and about India.
Indian traditions and values still exist despite facing several invasions over the past centuries, calamities and destructions, added Param Pujya Sarsanghchalak (Dr) Mohan Bhagawat. He further added that the people who protected their religion, culture and values were recognised as Hindus and India is the land of such people. If people of India develop honesty, good conduct and character, these qualities will be associated with India all over the world. The world has expectations from India. Power does not mean being equipped with arms but proper understanding, morality, knowledge and appropriate ideology is also power. When Hindus become assertive and resolved, the country too will be assertive and will be able to serve the world.
Main points in Param Pujya Dr Mohan Bhagawat’s speech
1. Creating unity amongst Hindus is not the responsibility of only RSS but it is the duty of the whole community. RSS only takes initiative but the true work will have to be carried out by the people, by coming together.
2. Hindus need to fight against injustice firmly but in peaceful manner.
3. Spirituality and Sanatan Dharma is the biggest power of India and therefore, Indian culture still exists when many ancient cultures in the world have become extinct.
4. All members of the family should spend time together at least once a week when they can discuss about the facilities available to their ancestors, traditions followed by them and moral values, etc.
5. People need to fight against injustice peacefully and in stages. Bhagavan Shriram first tried to solve the problem by talking to the concerned and then, fought against them when it was needed.
6. People can visit other countries but they should also visit India’s historical heritage places such as the forts of Maharana Pratap.
