Moscow (Russia) – After the US took steps to gain control over Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, Russia has directly challenged the United States. Russia has positioned itself just a few miles from the US, raising fears that the world is heading towards a third world war. Russia has positioned advanced missile-armed warships and nuclear-powered submarines off the coast of Venezuela.
Some time ago, Russian President Vladimir Putin had given Maduro an assurance over the phone that “if the US commits any aggression, we will come to your aid.” Russia has sent its most powerful weapons from its ‘Northern Fleet’ to the Caribbean Sea. The office of Russian President Putin has issued a warning stating, “We are committed to protecting the sovereignty of our friendly nation.”
On the other hand, the Pentagon (US Department of Defense) has become alert. These Russian warships are only a few miles off the coast of Florida. In response, the US has also deployed its aircraft carriers in the Atlantic Ocean.
