Clarification from the US after Trump’s statement on controlling Venezuela came under criticism

Washington (USA) – US President Donald Trump had stated that America would not intervene in Venezuela until the transition of power. That led to opposition not only from around the world but also from the opposition party in the US. Therefore, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio tried to patch that, saying that America would not control the daily affairs in Venezuela. Trump wanted to make a statement about the drug trafficking network in Venezuela. There will be a change in Venezuela. Rubio said they expected that change be reflected in the management of its oil industry, to benefit its citizens, and also to curb drug trafficking.
