Following protests from Hindutva organizations, the District Collector ordered an inquiry

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – A video of students reciting a ‘dua’ (Islamic prayer) at ‘M.R.D. Public School’ in Sevtha Singera village of Ghazipur district has gone viral on social media. Following the incident, the Kshatriya Mahasabha submitted a memorandum to the District Magistrate of Kasimabad demanding action.
It is alleged that during the prayer assembly, students were taught the ‘dua’ and ‘kalma’ (statements glorifying Allah). According to reports, the ‘dua’ was recited by a Brahmin student. (Is this a devious attempt by the school to create anti-Brahmin sentiment among Hindus? – Editor) On the other hand, it is also being said that when the students demanded to recite the Hanuman Chalisa in the school, the teachers refused their request.
The District Magistrate has ordered an inquiry into the matter. It has been clarified that legal action will be taken if anyone is found guilty in the investigation. The District School Inspector has also sent a show-cause notice to the school management. The school management stated that they had received guidance from the Central Education Department regarding conducting prayers in various languages. Accordingly, the prayer was conducted in Urdu. (If that is the case, why did the school refuse to allow the recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa? Hindus should now demand an answer from the school! – Editor)
Editorial perspectiveIn the past, even a proposal to read a chapter from the Bhagawadgeeta in schools has triggered strong objections under the banner of secularism. This selective outrage raises serious questions about their principles and consistency ! |
