Muslim, who assaulted Election Commission officers and their colleagues, arrested

Mumbai – In the Vile Parle area, the Election Commission’s ‘Static Survey Team’ (Static Survey Group) Nodal (appointed for specific work or scheme) officer, Suresh Rathod and his associates were assaulted and abused. The Vile Parle Police arrested Iftikhar Ahmed Mohammed in this case.

1. A centre has been set up for vehicle verification in the Milan Subway area of ​​Vile Parle. The nodal officer working there with the team stopped a four-wheeler for verification.

2. Following the rules of the Election Commission, Dheeraj Panchal, an employee, was video shooting for verification. Iftikhar Ahmed, in the four-wheeler, opposed the video shooting. Panchal explained that he was doing official election duty, yet the arrogant Iftikhar attacked Panchal.

3. The Nodal officer, Suresh Rathod, tried to mediate, but Iftikhar attacked him also.

4. Iftikhar abused the entire team and threatened that he would deal with them in future. After this incident, Suresh Rathod filed a complaint at the Vile Parle Police Station.

5. In this case, a crime was registered under the sections of assaulting a government employee and preventing them from performing their duty, causing them injury, insulting them with the intention of disturbing the peace, and issuing threats.

Editorial Perspective

Most Muslims have become more and more arrogant, having no fear of the law.  They disregard the administration and police by taking the law into their own hands with a domineering attitude. To bring them to their senses, they should be put behind bars.
