O’ Hindus ! Contribute to your optimal capacity for establishing the Ram Rajya !

1. The prevalent shameful condition of Hindus must be changed

Although Hindus are in a majority in this country, we still have to face numerous difficulties in abiding by our own Dharma in our own land. On the very soil where Prabhu Shriram established an ideal rule, forget Ram Rajya, today in many States of India such as Kashmir, Kerala and Bengal, Hindus are finding it difficult even to lead a safe and dignified life. This is a matter of shame for all of us. This situation must now be changed.

2. Ram Rajya alone is our goal

What is our goal ? Merely declaring India a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ is not our ultimate goal. If a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ is the body, Ram Rajya is its soul. Our aim is to establish Ram Rajya in Bharat (India) once again.

3. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is our ideal

Before us is the ideal of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Despite adverse circumstances and the might of the Mughal empire, with a handful of Mavalas (Shivaji’s army), Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj established the Hindavi Swarajya. It was not merely a kingdom, but Ram Rajya for the welfare of the people. If Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj could achieve this in those times, why can we not do it today, when we are in a majority ? We certainly can ! With the grace and blessings of Prabhu Shriram and the Saints, we can definitely move in that direction.

4. Direction of action

Establishing the Ram Rajya will not be possible through speeches alone. For that, we must act at three levels – physical, psychological and spiritual.

A. Physical level : Oppose all attacks on Dharma lawfully and in an organised manner.

B. Psychological-intellectual level : Create continuous awareness about the threats to Sanatan Dharma and the Nation.

C. Spiritual level : This is the most important aspect. To win any struggle, Divine support is essential.

5. Concept of Ram Rajya and administrative reforms

To establish Ram Rajya, we must create an ideal administration (good governance). For this, reforms in the present system are necessary. Today, we see that in Government offices, the common man often faces rude behaviour, and work does not get done on time. Corruption and chaos have no place in Ram Rajya.

Therefore, I appeal to everyone gathered here that we must confront corruption while remaining within the framework of law. If you are not treated properly in any Government office, if a bribe is demanded, or if your work is deliberately stalled, do not be afraid. Raise your voice against the injustice. Write to us about your experiences. We will publish them through Sanatan Prabhat Periodicals and other newspapers. Through speeches and the media, we will create public awareness about the defects in administration. Creating such awareness is a constitutional duty and will be a major step towards establishing the Ram Rajya.

6. Perform sadhana to bring Ram Rajya

Administrative reforms alone will not be enough. There is a proverb – ‘As is the king, so are the subjects’; but in a Democracy it is – ‘As are the subjects, so is the king’. In Ram Rajya, every citizen was spiritually pure and abided by Dharma; therefore, Ram Rajya existed.

Many regimes have come and gone, but none could give us Ram Rajya, because neither society nor the rulers were performing sadhana (Spiritual practice). If we want Ram Rajya, we must first become Ram-bhaktas (Devotees of Prabhu Shriram).

In the present times, to obtain the Divine strength for the mission of establishing the Ram Rajya, everyone should chant ‘Shriram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram’ daily for at least half-an-hour. Through this, we can increase our spiritual strength. As our sadhana increases, our spiritual purity increases. Ram Rajya is a Nation of spiritually pure people; hence, it is essential that everyone makes efforts to become spiritually pure.

7. Contribute towards establishing the Ram Rajya

This mission of establishing the ‘Sanatan Rashtra’, meaning, Ram Rajya, is Divine and it will certainly happen. The only question is, what will be our participation in it. Participate in this mission in whatever way you can. Some can contribute through writing, some through fighting legal battles, some through offerings, and some through direct action. Contribute to your optimal capacity for Ram Rajya.

From today, let us resolve to bring about transformation within ourselves and in society. Let us pray at the Holy feet of Shriram to grant us the strength to lift the Shivadhanushya (Deity Shiva’s bow) of establishing Ram Rajya !

Exhibition organised by the Central Government on the occasion of 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’

Bharat Mandapam, Indraprastha (New Delhi) – On behalf of the Central Government, an Exhibition displaying panels on the history of ‘Vande Mataram’, its creation, and its journey was set up during the Mahotsav. Audio recordings were also arranged, creating an atmosphere centered around ‘Vande Mataram’. On this occasion, activists of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti held placards reading ‘150 Years of Vande Mataram’ and created a distinctive formation. Various dignitaries and Saints graced this occasion.
