Police claim that the Hindu youth was a habitual offender and it led to the murder

Dhaka (Bangladesh) – Amrit Mondal alias Samrat, a Hindu youth, was beaten to death by fanatic Muslims in Rajbari District of Bangladesh. The video of the incident is being circulated on social media. It is being protested by Hindus in India. The interim Government has said that ‘this murder has no connection with religious violence’.
The interim Government has claimed that the deceased Amrit Mondal was a habitual offender. The Police were reportedly searching for him as he was involved in several crimes. Mondal had come to Rajdarbari District on December 25th with the aim of collecting extortion money. The Police have said that he was then killed by local Muslims. It is also said that Amrit Mondal had several serious crimes registered against him, including murder and extortion in the year 2023, and an arrest warrant had also been issued against him.
Editorial PerspectiveSuch claims are not surprising as it has been observed repeatedly that the interim Government of Bangladesh never admits the massacre of Hindus happening in their country. |
