Attack on Police Vehicle for Shoving Off Transgenders

An incident at Kharghar

Kharghar (Navi Mumbai) – The Police on night duty shoved off a few third gender persons for standing on the road making indecent gestures. This resulted in stone-pelting at the patrolling Police vehicle. Fortunately, there was no human loss of life. The mirrors of the vehicle have been broken in the attack. A case has been filed in this context.

Frequent attacks on the protectors of law is a sign of lack of regard for law. We never hear about any action taken against the culprits; therefore, there is rise in such incidents.
