Threat to blow up Bombay High Court and Nagpur District and Sessions Court among others

No suspicious object was found!

Mumbai – A Message threatening to blow up all courts was received on the website of Bombay High Court. The message also mentioned Killa and Bandra Courts. The security around the courts has been beefed up and Bombay High Court was evacuated immediately. However, nothing suspicious was found after a thorough examination by the bomb squad; Thereafter proceedings at the court were resumed.

Nagpur District and Sessions Court also received a threat via email. The police and security agencies stepped up security in the area. A search operation was conducted to trace the bomb but nothing suspicious object has been found as of now. Investigation are on to trace the person who has sent the email. The incident, however, affected the functioning of the court for some time.
