Sanatan Rashtra Shankhnad Festival Delhi 2025
Bharat Mandap, New Delhi :The students of ‘Savyasachi Gurukulam’, Kolhapur presented martial arts of the Chhatrapati Shivaji-era such as staff (lathi), spear (bhala), dandpatta (gauntlet-sword), axe, chakripash (disc-and-rope weapon), sword, bricks, etc. in the festival.
Demonstrations were also given on how to fight multiple enemies at the same time using these weapons and how young women can protect themselves using these weapons. Watching these martial art demonstrations awakened a feeling of valour in the audience. On this occasion, those present enthusiastically raised slogans like “Victory to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj!” and “Har Har Mahadev!”.
