“I have no connection whatsoever with Babar” : MLA Humayun Kabir

The deceptive statement of MLA Humayun Kabir, who is trying to build a Babri Mosque

Murshidabad (Bengal) — I have nothing to do with Babar. There is no special intention behind naming the mosque to be constructed in Beldanga as ‘Babri’, claimed MLA Humayun Kabir, who has been suspended from the Trinamool Congress.

Kabir was earlier in the BJP as well. When he was asked about this, he said that the BJP’s area of work was connected only with the interests of the Hindu community; however, since I myself am a Muslim, working for the welfare of the Muslim community is important for me.

Editorial Perspective

If he has no connection with Babar, then what is the purpose of building a mosque in his name ? Those who try to use Babar’s name to seek Muslim votes should have a case filed against them and be put in jail !
