Devout Hindu activists explaining to vendors why ‘Halal’-certified ‘Mentos’ should not be sold

Kolhapur, 25th October – In a shop named ‘Yewale’s Milk Corner’ in Kolhapur, a product called ‘Mentos’ was sold, which was obtained from Indonesia and certified as ‘Halal’. The local devout Hindu activists noticed it, and they immediately met with the concerned shop owner. They explained to him the problems with ‘Halal’ certification and how such products are harmful for our country, as the money earned from the sale of such products has been used for the benefit of ‘Jihadi’ terrorists. On getting the information, the concerned shop-owner assured that he would not keep such ‘Halal’-certified products for sale in future; besides removing ‘Mentos’.

Devout Hindu activists, viz. Sachin Bhosale, ‘Maharashtra Mandir Mahasangh’s Ashok Gurav, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s members Shivananda Swami, Mahendra Ahire, Pritam Pawar, Vishwas Patil and others were present on the occasion.
