Nagpur – “We will compel the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh to bow down and accept the Constitution. The Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi fears no one when it comes to protecting the Constitution, law, and the rights given by Babasaheb. Whenever these are threatened, the Ambedkarite community will take to the streets without fear,” said Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi leader Sujat Ambedkar in a baseless statement.
The rally was organised by the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi to demand a ban on the Sangh; however, police had denied permission for the same. Despite this, the rally was carried out. It was said that the rally was held in connection with cases registered against Ambedkarite activists Rahul Makasare and others.
Editorial PerspectiveIf the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi truly upholds the Constitution, it should explain under which Articles of the Constitution it is lawful to conduct a rally without police approval. |
