Stay away from the RSS, don’t associate with Sanatanis : Karnataka CM

  • Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s anti-Sanatan advice to students

  • Attempt to spread hatred for Sanatan in the minds of children

Mysuru (Karnataka) – People should avoid the company of Sanatanis and be wary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS); because they have always opposed Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar and the Constitution he created, said Karnataka Congress Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, making an anti-Sanatan statement. ‘Keep good company. Keep relations with those who work for the welfare of society, not with those who oppose social change,’ advised Siddaramaiah. He was speaking at the inauguration of ‘Vishvagyani Ambedkar meeting hall’ on the occasion of the silver jubilee of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Study Centre at Mysuru University. For the past few days, there has been a demand in Karnataka to ban the programmes of the RSS. After that, the State Government has decided to implement rules to control the programmes of the RSS.

Siddaramaiah further said,

1. The throwing of shoes at the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court by a person with a Sanatani mindset is clear evidence that there are still people maintaining good relations as well as Sanatanis in the society. This incident should be condemned unanimously by not only Dalits, but everyone, only then can we understand that society is on the path to change.

2. The RSS members are spreading the false propaganda that ‘Congress defeated Ambedkar in the elections’; but Ambedkar himself has written that ‘Savarkar and Comrade Dange defeated me’. (Siddaramaiah should tell where this is written. Else, it means he is the one spreading false information before the society – Editor). The Sanatanis’ plan to spread false information should be exposed.

The mentality of the RSS is similar to the Taliban : Siddaramaiah’s son Yatindra

Earlier, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s son Yatindra Siddaramaiah had demanded a ban on the RSS in the State. He had said that the mentality of the RSS is similar to the Taliban. (If that were the case, would Yatindra have dared to say such a thing ? And even if he had dared to do so, would he have been able to survive ? – Editor) Just as the Taliban issues ‘farmaan’ (order) to impose the principles of Islam, the RSS wants to impose Hindu Dharma. (Those who link Hindu Dharma with the Taliban need a psychiatric treatment – Editor).

Editorial Perspectives

  • Siddaramaiah is spewing venom against Sanatan just because he has a mouth. He would be remembered by the public as a politician who instilled hatred among children.
  • How do those who preach not to associate with Sanatanis take over their temples and use their funds ? How is it permitted ?
  • Congress maintains ties with the Muslim League, Mullahs and Maulavis, and Kashmiri terrorists, but they do not want any association with those protecting nation and Dharma. It is clear what kind of mentality these people have.
