Glory of our Hindu culture has been preserved due to sacrifices of our ancestors : Ms Meenakshi Sharan

Ms Meenakshi Sharan said that in the last fourteen centuries, about 80 crore Hindus sacrificed their lives for the protection of Hindu Dharma, Hindu faith, identity and culture. These brave warriors never converted. Due to their sacrifice, Hindus have been able to maintain their identity and glorify their culture. Collective ‘Tarpan’ is the need of the hour to repay this debt. This religious ceremony connects us to honour our history. She stated further :

1. Hindus need to know their Dharma, traditions and history if India wants to keep alive its Sanatan culture and chivalry. To honour the struggle of millions of our ancestors, such a collective Tarpan not only keeps alive their memories but also inspires future generations.
