Hindu Janaakrosh Morcha at Karmala (Solapur)

Solapur, 10 October – “Diwali shopping should be done only from Hindus. The profit from Hindu purchases must go to Hindus. Attacks on the Hindu community will not be tolerated under any circumstances. A united, organised and prepared Hindu society alone can respond effectively to such assaults. Jihadis must remember that Hindus will no longer remain silent. Every Hindu is ready to defend dharma, culture and identity,” said Nationalist Congress Party MLA Mr Sangram Jagatap during the Hindu Janaakrosh Morcha held at Karmala in Solapur.
A large number of pro-Hindu marchers participated in the rally, after which a public meeting took place where several pro-Hindu leaders voiced their views. The march was organised to protest a cowardly attack in which some members of the Hindu-Vadar community in Karmala were reportedly pelted with stones by alleged jihadi elements. Addressing the crowd, Mr Jagatap strongly condemned the attack and demanded that the police and administration take immediate and strict action against the accused.
