Navi Mumbai – “In the 2008 Mumbai terror attack, Congress gave the world a message that it had bowed its knees to terrorism. A senior Congress leader recently said in an interview that ‘Congress did not attack Pakistan after 26/11 due to pressure from other countries’. Congress needs to tell the people under what foreign pressure this decision was taken. This decision of Congress strengthened terrorism while weakening the country’s security. Due to this, many terrorist attacks took place after that. The security of the country and its citizens is important for us. The citizens have proudly experienced that today’s India kills the enemy by entering its own country,” stated Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Navi Mumbai. He was speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of Navi Mumbai International Airport. Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar along with other dignitaries were present on this occasion.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister also inaugurated the underground ‘Metro 3′. 530 short-term employment courses with 2,500 classes were launched along with the ‘Mumbai One’ app, which provides a single ticket for all travel including metro, mono, train, bus etc. It also provides journey planning services.

When the entire country accepts Swadeshi, India’s strength will increase

Narendra Modi said that by buying indigenous goods and gifting them to each other, the country’s money will remain within the country. This will provide employment to the people of the country. When the whole of India accepts Swadeshi, India’s strength will increase significantly. All records of sale of goods during Navratri were broken due to the reduction in GST. The country is being empowered because individuals are becoming empowered.

India is the world’s largest domestic aviation market

In the year 2014, there were 74 airports in the country, now there are more than 160. India has become the country with the third largest domestic aviation market in the world. In the next 10 years, we are trying to make India an ‘MRO Hub’. This airport will generate massive employment.

Asia’s largest ‘connectivity hub’

Various routes have been created from this airport to reach Mumbai and elsewhere. Asia’s longest 40 km underground metro on the ‘Acharya Atre Chowk-Cuffe Parade-Aarey’ route, ‘water taxi’ on the Navi Mumbai to Gateway route and an airport connecting domestic and international cities have been created.

  • The magnificent and attractive airport is designed in the shape of a lotus flower.
  • This second international airport in Mumbai will be operational from December 2025.

The airport will increase the State’s GDP by 1% : Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister

This airport will increase Maharashtra’s GDP by 1%. PM Modi has gifted us the Vadhvan port. We will build the country’s first offshore airport there. A third Mumbai will be built near our Navi Mumbai airport. A fourth Mumbai will be built near Vadhvan. Navi Mumbai airport’s work had not progressed for many decades.
