Tricolour Flag with crescent moon and star printed !

Bhandup, Mumbai – In Pratapanagar, during preparations for an Eid procession, a few members of the Muslim community displayed the Indian national flag with a crescent moon and star printed on it and even hung it horizontally across the street. (Editorial note: If those who print a crescent moon and star on the tricolour today demand tomorrow that a flag with the crescent moon and star be recognized as the national flag, would it be surprising ?)
Local patriots promptly removed the flag that desecrated the tricolour.
Editorial PerspectiveIndians must realize that it is only because of a weakening sense of national pride that such elements dare to commit these acts. |
