Mira Road (Thane District) – An advertisement has been put up here announcing the construction of a housing colony designed for Muslims, promoting a “Halal lifestyle” (a lifestyle aligned with Islamic principles).

Local residents said, “Setting up a housing colony exclusively for one religion is wrong. This is being done in a planned manner. Putting up such advertisements in areas where people from two different communities live together is not appropriate.”

In Karjat (Raigad district), a colony named “Sukoon Empire” promoting a Halal lifestyle is already being developed. Against this backdrop, advertisements for a similar project in Mira Road have also been put up along the roadside.

Builders’ Clarification

The builders claimed, “Only a space for offering Namaz will be provided here. No mosque or similar structure will be built. There is no other hidden motive behind developing this colony.”
However, the advertisement includes  an image of a mosque, contradicting their statement.

Editorial Perspective

If such colonies keep coming up everywhere, it won’t take long for India to turn into “Islamistan” !
