Kushinagar (Uttar Pradesh) – A Muslim youth trapped a Hindu girl in a love affair two months ago and took her to Chennai. There, he forcibly converted her to Islam, married her and subjected her to brutal abuse. Following this, the girl informed her father, saying, “My Abdul also turned out to be wicked.”

Two months ago, the girl’s father filed a complaint at the local Police station. However, since the girl was an adult and had given a statement in support of the youth, identifying him as her boyfriend, the complaint didn’t lead to any action. At that time, she had told those opposing the relationship, “My Abdul is not like what you people think.”

But now, the girl made a video call to her father, showing him pictures of herself covered in blood. She informed him that her ‘Abdul’ had changed her name to Salma (name changed) and after marrying her in Chennai, was now tormenting her.

A Police team has been sent to Chennai in this matter. Local Police Inspector Ram Sahay Chauhan said that a case has been registered against the youth and action will be taken following an investigation.

Local MLA Mohan Verma stated that this case appears to be linked with the ‘Changur Baba gang’.
