Pune – In the backdrop of Ganeshotsav, Oxyrich establishment published an advertisement board showing the image of Shri Ganesh using its water bottle. These boards with ‘Warm welcome to Shri Ganesh devotees’ have been put up at various places such as Shinde Par Chowk, Shaniwar Peth, Kasba Peth, near Nutan Marathi Vidyalaya, Bajirao Road, Vishrambag Wada, etc. But in reality, they  are denigration of Shri Ganesh.

1. Social media flooded with netizens asking, what was Oxyrich trying to achieve by mocking Shri Ganesh on the welcoming board ? Hindus retaliated on social media, saying the denigration of Shri Ganesh will not be tolerated.

2. HJS has strongly condemned it. Mr Parag Gokhale of the Samiti said while tweeting on X that denigrating our revered Shri Ganesh for business sake was a direct attack on the Hindu’s faith. He demanded immediate removal and a public apology from the Oxyrich.

Editorial Perspective

Hindus do not have education on Dharma, hence they defame Hindu places of worship in the name of artistic and personal freedom. Strict action against such people is essential.
