New Delhi – The court’s decision is disappointing, and will the Union Government and the Fadnavis Government in Maharashtra challenge this decision in the High Court ? asked AIMIM (All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen – Akhil Bharatiya Muslim Ekta Sangh) chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi. He was talking about the verdict given by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) court in the 2008 Malegaon bomb blast case.
क्या @narendramodi और @Dev_Fadnavis सरकार Malegaon Blast Case के फैसले को Supreme Court में चुनौती देगी या नहीं? pic.twitter.com/tZ3ABr0u31

Owaisi further stated that the NIA conducted a poor investigation in that case, due to which those people got acquitted. In 2016, the then Government lawyer in this case, Rohini Salian, had publicly stated that the NIA had asked her to take a soft stance towards the accused. In 2017, the agency tried to acquit Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur. The same person was elected as a BJP MP in 2019. Will the officers of the NIA and the Anti-Terrorism Squad be held accountable for their flawed investigation ? They all knew the answer to that question. This is a tough Modi Government against terrorism. The world would remember that the BJP appointed an accused as MP. (For fanatic Muslim leaders like Owaisi, devout Hindus leaders or saints will be considered terrorists ! Such leaders should be condemned. – Editor)
