Uttar Pradesh : Two Muslim women embrace Hindu Dharma and marry Hindu men

Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh) – On 15 July, two Muslim women named Swaleheen and Noor Fatima willingly embraced Hindu Dharma and married Hindu men through proper rituals at a temple. After conversion, Swaleheen took the name Shalini and Noor Fatima renamed herself Neelam. Shalini married Amit Kumar, a resident of Pandit Nagla village, while Neelam married Gaurav Kumar from Bhojpur.

Both women stated, “We have embraced Hindu Dharma entirely of our own free will. However, we now face threats to our lives from our own families. Therefore, we have appealed to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the Moradabad district administration to provide us with protection.”
