Statement of Karnataka Congress Chief Minister Siddaramaiah

Bengaluru – Speaking on this issue on July 6, 2025, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that he does not go to temples much. However, I visit villages, and if I do not go to the temple there, then people will not vote for me. ‘I am a politician. I have to go. If I do not go, I will not get votes,’ he said on July 6.
Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah ADMITS: "If I don’t visit temples, people won’t vote for me. I’m a politician, I have to go."

Despite Siddaramaiah’s image as an ‘atheist’, he visits temples and also gets a Tilak on his forehead many times. He made the above ‘reveal’ in response to the criticism leveled against him by the opposition over this.
