If I don't go to the temple, people won't vote me

Bengaluru – Speaking on this issue on July 6, 2025, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that he does not go to temples much. However, I visit villages, and if I do not go to the temple there, then people will not vote for me. ‘I am a politician. I have to go. If I do not go, I will not get votes,’ he said on July 6.

Despite Siddaramaiah’s image as an ‘atheist’, he visits temples and also gets a Tilak on his forehead many times. He made the above ‘reveal’ in response to the criticism leveled against him by the opposition over this.

Please note the true nature of Congress leaders ! During the last election, Rahul Gandhi had planned to go to the temple, even when the Hindus knew that he was going to the temple only for votes. It is good now that the Congress Chief Minister has accepted this !
